iCAN: Director of Marketing

iCAN is looking for an experienced, proactive marketing professional with strong hands-on experience, deep understanding of sales-driven marketing, digital assets and technology as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills for its Director of Marketing position. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will help craft and execute an integrated sales & marketing program to increase brand, sales, visibility and media coverage. The ideal candidate should be extremely passionate about marketing, content and incredibly proactive and goal oriented, skilled at working both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, quick-changing environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Lead all marketing activities for iCAN including CannaTech events, incubated companies and Services division
  • Drive the iCAN and CannaTech Brand through all marketing materials
  • Working with internal and external resources: Responsible for creation, design, scheduling, final execution and reporting of all visual and digital content; including
    • Web sites (multiple)
    • Social Media
    • Marketing Materials
    • Event materials
    • Newsletters
  • Management of all marketing administration activities and marketing budget
  • Produce innovative and proactive solutions to increase brand awareness, sales, and media exposure
  • Take the lead in developing successful, long-term marketing strategies

Skills Required:

  • The Successful Candidate Will have:
    • Strong focus on Sales growth
    • Experience in fast growing startup companies with a global market – agility is a must
    • Strategic marketing as well as hands-on marcom expertise, including content creation, communication, PR and social media expertise
    • Demonstrated successes in establishing brand, thought leadership, reputation and lead generation
    • Super proactive, resourceful and a great team player
    • Strong Wordpress skills
